Clinical Pharmacy Practice: From Evidence to Real World Impact presents a contemporary and practice-oriented overview of the expanding role of clinical pharmacists in modern healthcare. The book examines the transition of pharmacy from a predominantly product-oriented profession toward a patient-centered clinical discipline focused on medication optimization, therapeutic outcomes, medication safety and multidisciplinary healthcare delivery.
The book brings together evidence-based medicine, clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, medication safety, pharmacovigilance, antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacogenomics, personalized medicine, real-world evidence, digital health, artificial intelligence, clinical decision support and inter-professional collaboration
