Preface With the recent trends of education curriculum and research in the field of Farm Machines, Farm Power and Renewable Energy by various Agricultural Universities, there is a need of a book covering all the aspects. This book comprises of four chapters: I. Farm Machinery, II. Farm Power, II. Renewable Energy, IV. Engineering Mechanics including Appendices. It contains numerical problems, objective questions (fill in the blanks, true/ false, multiple choice and small answer) and unsolved numerical problems. The book, in its present form, will be useful to students for their competitive examinations like NET, ARS, GATE, SRF, JRF and Bank examination. Every care has been taken to explain the numerical and objective problems in details. Efforts have been made to make simple and understandable language to the readers. It is hoped that readers will be amply benefited by this book. The authors are thankful to their colleagues who helped directly or indirectly in preparing the manuscript of this book.
