1. Introduction

Coriander is a vital spice crop with a grave role in delicious food test. It is a tropical crop and cultivated as a major in Rabi season in chill free extents through the blossoming phase. The leading jackfruit producers in the world include Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. Jackfruit can be found in East Africa, Brazil, and Caribbean nations such as Jamaica. Bangladesh’s national fruits are the jackfruit, mango, and banana.

The process for discovering new fungicides has evolved throughout time. Over the past 20 years, a number of novel fungicides with various chemical activity have been created, after the age of site-specific systemic fungicides and multisite broad-spectrum fungicides. Compared to earlier chemicals, they are utilised at considerably lower dosages, making them more ecologically friendly.The most significant of them is called strobilurin (QoI), which is derived from the wild Strobilurus tenacellus fungus. The oxazolidinediones (phaoxadone), phenoxyquinolines (quinoxifene), anilinopyrimidines (cyprodinil, pyrimethanil), and valinamide (iprovalicarb, benchocarb), manderamide (mandipropamide), and phenylpyrrole (fenpicroyl, fludioxonil) are other significant fungicides that were introduced in the last ten years to control a variety of diseases. These substances have distinct molecular structures and modes of action.

A non parametric test (sometimes called a distribution free test) is a statistical analysis method that does not assume the population data belongs to some prescribed distribution which is determined by some parameters. That means, a non-parametric test can be defined as a test that is used in statistical analysis when the data under consideration does not belong to a parameterized family of distributions. When the data does not meet the requirements to perform a parametric test, a non-parametric test is used to analyze it. The non-parametric test compared to parametric test, which makes assumptions about a population’s parameters (for example, the mean or standard deviation); When the word “non parametric” is used in stats, it means that population data does not have a normal distribution.

If at all possible, we should us parametric tests, as they tend to be more accurate. Parametric tests have greater statistical power, which means they are likely to find a true significant effect. Nonparametric tests can perform well with non-normal continuous data if the data of the sample are sufficiently large. Non parametric do not assume that the data is normally distributed. The only non parametric test we are likely to come across in elementary stats is the Chi-square test. In nonparametric tests have several advantages as compared to parametric tests. It includes:

• More statistical power when assumptions for the parametric tests have been violated.

• Fewer assumptions, i.e. the assumption of normality don’t apply.

• Small sample sizes are acceptable.

• It is used for all data types, including nominal data, rank data or ordinal data

• Knowledge of the population is not required to conduct this test.

• Nonparametric tests are valid when our sample size is small and our data are potentially non-normal.

Introduction

The pistachio nut (Pistacia vera L.), a small tree native to Afghanistan, Central Asia, and Iran. The Pistacia genus is a member of the Anacardiaceae family, which also includes the cashew, mango, sumac, and poison ivy plants. The tree yields seeds, which are frequently eaten as food. The genus Pistacia has about 20 species including Pistacia vera, Pistacia atlantica, Pistacia terebinthus, Pistacia khinjuk, and Pistacia lentiscus (Parizi et al., 2016). Western Asia is the pistachio nut home region, and traders brought them to the Middle East, the Mediterranean nations, and Europe. Pistacia vera L. is the only species in this genus commercially grown for edible nuts. It was probably first grown in areas close to where it grew wild, as remains of pistachio nuts dating to the 6 millennium BC have been discovered in both Afghanistan and south-eastern Iran in recent times. Pistachio cultivation progressively spread to the West from the old Persian Empire, where it was widely grown. the word “Pistachio” etymology most likely stems from the Avestan word “pistak” from ancient Persian (Mandalari et al.2022).

Health benefits

In pistachio nuts more than 50% of the fat is unsaturated. There are also 20% proteins, 20% complex carbs, and pro-vitamin A. Dried fruit pistachios nut has the highest potassium content that is very good for health. It is also great supplier of energy, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron. The heart’s functioning can benefit from the consumption of this fruit. Moreover, it participates in cell metabolism, and the potassium it contains controls the water content of the cells. The production of hemoglobin and myoglobin depends on iron, consumption of pistachio nuts fulfill the iron requirements. Symptoms: The above ground parts (leaf, leaf sheath, stems) of the plant exihibit the symptoms. The seedlings and adult plants are affected by the pathogen. Eye-shaped spots appear on leaf and leaf sheath having dark brown margin with ashy centre. These spots coalesce to form large patches and the leaves are blighted. Affected leaves wither prematurely and the seedlings may be killed. Lesions appear on the leaf blades, leaf sheaths and culms on adult plants and cause blightening.

Soil regeneration is another key tenet, viewing the soil as a living system teeming with beneficial microbes. Techniques such as organic mulching, maintaining soil cover, and applying Jeevamrutha (a mixture made from cow dung, cow urine, jaggery, and pulse flour) enrich the soil microbiome. These practices improve soil structure, moisture retention, and nutrient availability, leading to healthier crops.
Seed treatment in natural farming avoids chemical coatings. Instead, Beejamrutha—a preparation made from cow dung, cow urine, lime, and native soil—is applied to seeds before sowing. This enhances seedling health, protects against disease, and promotes vigorous early growth, rooted in natural protection.
Natural pest management uses plant-based deterrents rather than synthetic chemicals. Preparations like neem oil, garlic extract, and Agniastra (made from cow dung, cow urine, tobacco, and chili) are applied to control pests. These reduce chemical residue in crops and help preserve beneficial insects and overall biodiversity.

A family of over 33 genera and 391 species, Nyctaginaceae are distributed mainly in tropics, but also in South America particularly Brazil, Asia, Ecuador, Peru, Columbia, Australia, Africa and New Zealand are the chief centers of distribution. It is a fast growing garden plant admired for its brightly coloured bracts, profuse flowering round the year, wide adaptability to soil and climatic conditions, and easy growing. It is, grown as hedge, pergola, standard, pot plant, and bonsai for display. In city designs, newer roads, and flyovers are introduced with bougainvilleas as dividers. Bougainvilleas also have been utilized as a kind of folk medicine developed into dietary supplements as insulin substitute and for pollution tolerance. The insulin like compound, pinitol, was first isolated from leaves of B. spectabilis.

India is home to several native and introduced bee species, each contributing uniquely to honey production and ecosystem health. Choosing a species for natural beekeeping depends on factors like climate, local flora, and whether the beekeeper’s goal is honey production, crop pollination, or species conservation.

Among these species, Apis dorsata—the rock bee—is a large, wild bee known for building single, exposed combs on high structures such as trees and cliffs. While it can produce up to 40 kg of honey per colony annually, its aggressive nature makes it unsuitable for domestication. In contrast, Apis cerana indica, the native Indian hive bee, is better adapted to India’s diverse climates and is compatible with low-maintenance, eco-conscious farming. Producing around 6–10 kg of honey per colony annually, it suits small-scale, sustainable practices.

Harvesting and processing natural honey are integral parts of beekeeping that demand attention to timing, technique, and ethical practices to protect both the integrity of the honey and the well-being of the bees. In natural farming systems, the emphasis lies not only on honey yield but also on maintaining balance with the surrounding environment and the bees themselves. While specific data may differ across regions and practices, various studies have consistently demonstrated benefit-cost ratios (BCR) ranging between 1.67 and 3.01. These units play a vital role in improving survival rates of fish seed, facilitating acclimatization to the growing environment, and reducing transportation-related stress and costs.

Poultry–fish integrated farming utilizes poultry droppings—especially from fully built-up litter—as a valuable input for fish culture. In this system, birds like chickens, ducks, or geese are reared in close proximity to or directly above fish ponds, allowing their excreta to either fertilize the water or serve as direct feed for fish. This integration offers multiple advantages. Poultry excreta is nutrient-dense due to the short digestive tract of birds, making it highly efficient as a low-cost fertilizer. Moreover, poultry manure is relatively low in moisture, fiber, and tannins—substances that can otherwise discolor water—thus making it suitable for aquatic environments. Poultry manure acts as both an organic and inorganic fertilizer, significantly enhancing pond productivity. In one case, fish yields of up to 670 kg/ha were achieved over three months without any supplemental feeding by using poultry manure alone. On average, each bird produces around 40 grams of manure per day. Manure from 250–300 laying hens or 150–200 broilers can yield 3–4 tons of fish annually when recycled into a one-hectare pond. The manure helps break down inedible matter into high-quality natural fish feed by stimulating microbial activity in the water and sediment. These microbes, in turn, enhance nutrient cycling and support the production of plankton— primary food sources for fish.

Typically, crustaceans inhabit the bottom, while fish occupy the middle and upper water layers. Effective water and nutrient management form the foundation of a productive integrated farming system—whether it includes fish, livestock, poultry, crops, or horticulture. Water in these systems serves not just one component but is shared across units, making its quality, quantity, and timing critical. Likewise, nutrients from animal waste, pond sludge, crop residues, and wastewater must be efficiently reused to nourish plants, sustain aquatic life, and maintain soil health, all while limiting environmental losses. In fish–crop or fish–livestock integrations, nutrient-rich water from fish ponds—containing nitrogen and phosphorus from fish waste and feed—can be directed to vegetable plots or rice fields. Plants absorb these nutrients, effectively purifying the water before it recirculates to the fish units. Precise timing is essential: fish ponds should be fertilized 5–7 days before stocking to foster plankton growth, while irrigating crops with pond water must match plant nutrient needs and avoid salt accumulation. In crop–livestock systems, placing poultry or cattle sheds uphill allows gravity-fed runoff to be channeled into compost pits or directly onto fields, enriching the soil naturally. Soil moisture and nutrient levels should be monitored regularly to guide the balanced application of manures and fertilizers, minimizing leaching and preventing plant stress.

Traction becomes even more critical when operating heavy machinery, particularly for farm and field applications. Tractors, for instance, are built for rugged and demanding conditions, requiring more traction compared to regular tubeless car tyres.
A tyre consists of a torus, made of a complex, flexible, reinforced composite material that surrounds a steel hub and is filled with air under pressure. The tyre’s rolling tread usually features expanded ribs. The design and shape of the torus, as well as the construction materials, are chosen based on the specific application of the tyre. Generally, a tyre is characterized by its construction type, mounting details, ply rating, and other key dimensions, as illustrated in relevant diagrams .

The raising of silkworms for the purpose of producing silk is known as sericulture; It entails the rearing of silkworms as well as the cultivation of host plants; the cultivation of mulberry plants is referred to as Moriculture. A silkworm goes through five instars and four moults before beginning to spin cocoons. It goes through a full metamorphosis and goes through four life stages: the egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The life cycle of a silkworm takes roughly 6-7 weeks to complete. Following the formation of the cocoon, it is reeled by various reeling machines to create raw silk, which is then woven into garments. Transgenes are any foreign genes that are genetically engineered into an organism from another organism. Transgenesis is the term used to describe the entire process of introducing a transgene into an organism. The organism in which the gene is inserted may experience changes to its genome. Unlike plants and bacteria, transgenic silkworms have the ability to produce recombinant proteins on a large scale because of their similarity in post translational modification and protein folding to that of mammalian cells. India has begun conducting multi-location trials using transgenic silkworms that exhibit potent antiviral activity against the BmNPV virus. For the first time, field trials involving any kind of insect or animal have the approval of RCGM. In India, grass disease is responsible for roughly half of crop losses. When compared to other hybrids that farmers use, the transgenic silkworm hybrids that are produced will also have better cocoon quality parameters. Researchers have successfully created transgenic silkworms that produce glowing proteins, collagen proteins, and spider silk.
