A student investigator confronted time constraints, such as course credit pressure, and resource constraints, such as physical, budgetary, and managerial constraints, in the current investigation. However, every effort and consideration made the study as objective and scientific as feasible. Here are some essential tips for caring for and managing your pet dog during winter:

1. Provide Adequate Shelter: If your dog spends time outdoors, make sure they have a warm and dry shelter to retreat to when the weather gets harsh. Whether it’s a sturdy doghouse or a cozy insulated shelter, ensure it provides protection from wind, rain, snow, and low temperatures. Consider adding blankets or straw bedding for extra warmth.

2. Limit Outdoor Exposure: While dogs may enjoy playing in the snow, it’s crucial to limit their time outdoors during extreme cold weather. Frostbite and hypothermia are real dangers for dogs, especially those with short fur or small breeds. Keep outdoor activities short and supervise your dog closely to prevent any weather-related emergencies.

3. Protect Their Paws: Snow, ice, and road salt can be harsh on your dog’s paws, causing irritation, dryness, and even chemical burns. Invest in a pair of dog booties to protect their paws during walks or consider using paw balms to moisturize and create a protective barrier. After walks, wipe your dog’s paws with a warm, damp cloth to remove any salt or ice-melting chemicals.

Procedure
1. Mix the dough with ingredients I. Keep it for fermentation till breaks easily without stretching.
2. Put the sponge to mixer. Add salt, sugar, flour and optional ingredients and mix. In last, add shortening. The dough should be soft and very smooth.
3. Let the dough relax for about 30 min. cut pieces of dough weighing 100 g/450g.
4. Mould in along oblong shape and place in baking pans.
5. Proof the moulded dough to a desired height.
6. Bake at 210oC to a golden colour.
7. Cool the loaves overnight.
8. Cut the rusk of desired thickness. Arrange on baking sheets and toast at 190oC till these are crisp and golden brown in colour.
9. Cool and packaged.

Jamun is tall evergreen tree indigenous to India.  According to Hindu tradition, Rama subsisted on the fruit in the forest for 14 years during his exile from Ajodhya, because of this, many Hindus regard jamun as a ‘Fruit of the Gods’. It is known by different names in different regions of India: these names are java plum, black plum, jambul and Indian blackberry. Though the fruits of jamun are liked by all and sell at a good price, but it has still not grown as an orchard tree and is generally known as an avenue tree or as a wind break. Jamun is a hardy fruit plant which can be grown under adverse soil and climatic conditions. It is one of the hardiest fruit tree and best suited for wastelands. It is drought tolerant and at the same time can tolerate water stagnation as well as marshy wetlands. 

Mass selection is the simplest, oldest and least expensive method of plant breeding as applicable to cross-pollinated crops. The method involves planting balanced bulk seed of the population to be improved, in isolation, inferior plants rogued out before pollination wherever possible and selecting and bulking superior genotypes that already exist in the population. A balanced bulk of selected ears, for example, in corn is made for planting the next cycle. Selection units are individual plants. Selection is surely on phenotypic performance. This method exploits additive gene effects plus additive x additive interactions. The efficiency of this method depends largely on the heritability of the trait under selection. Selection results using mass selection have been quite effective for less complex traits. Mass selection could be very effective for those traits that can be identified or selected prior to flowering, for example, curd/head shape, size, colour in cauliflower and cabbage, root shape, size, colour and quality traits in radish and carrot and bulb shape, size, colour and weight in onion. A few examples of such traits in maize could be flowering, leaf angle, prolificacy, resistance to thrips, fall armyworm, reduced plant and ear height, reduced anthesis-silking interval and barrenness and tolerance to pre-flowering diseases.

Lack of pollination control is major limitation of this method as both desirable and undesirable pollen will be involved in pollination of the selected plants. Further, if selection intensity is very high (small plant population size advanced), the possibility of inbreeding depression is increased. This selection is not very effective if the heritability of the trait under selection is low (less than 10% on individual plant basis). Mass selection is likely to be more effective for individual or a combination of few traits rather than a whole series of characters. Despite some limitations, mass selection can be very useful and relevant procedure in breeding of cross-pollinated crops in many situations characterized by resource limitations, non-availability of trained scientific manpower and additional test sites, lack of seed storage facilities even for short term and lack of continuity of technical personnel. Lack of control on soil variability also makes this method less effective.

Principle: Sugarcane is one of the main crops worldwide, and it has an important impact on environmental issues. Sugarcane is used in daily routine life in many ways like as vinegar, jiggery, juices etc. In India sugarcane crop is best cultivated in the west U.P. Sugarcane original vinegar drink with high nutritional quality was produced from fresh sugarcane juice using the yeast culture and acetic acid bacteria by fermentation techniques such as submerged alcoholic fermentation followed by acetic fermentation at room temperature. Refined sugarcane is the primary product of sugarcane juice, during its processing; various other valuable products are also obtained in an unrefined form such as brown sugar, molasses, jaggery and vinegar. Sugarcane juice is widely used in the treatment of jaundice, hemorrhage, dysuria, and other urinary disease. Nowadays sugarcane vinegar is also used in Indian kitchens commonly in pickles, salads, etc. Vinegar is extremely useful for human health including antimicrobial activity, blood pressure reduction, antioxidant activity, reduction in the effects of diabetes, and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Vinegar can be made from any carbohydrate source, amylaceous, or sugary substrate through two successive fermentations: alcoholic fermentation, which is carried out by means of yeasts, and acetic fermentation, with acetic bacteria as the protagonist.

Driftwood is wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea or river by the action of winds, tides, waves or man. It is a form of marine debris or tide wrack.

In some waterfront areas, driftwood is a major nuisance. However, the driftwood provides shelter and food for birds, fish and other aquatic species as it floats in the ocean. Gribbles, shipworm sand bacteria decompose the wood and gradually turn it into nutrients that are reintroduced to the food web. Sometimes, the partially decomposed wood washes ashore, where it also shelters birds, plants, and other species. Driftwood can become the foundation for sand dunes.

Seed size is an important parameter of seed vigor as it in influences the performance of seed in soil. Seed bulk at harvest contains a wide range of seed sizes but these may not all be of equal value for sowing. Farmers have always realized the necessary of using uniform seeds for good viability to obtain high emergence and growth. This will also help in getting optimum plant population and higher yields.
 
The influence of seed size on seedling vigor and crop productivity has already been proven since the days Hannaford who was considered as father of seed processing. To achieve uniformity in seed size this optimum sieve/screen size is very critical for optimum seed recovery and economical seed yield. Though the screen sizes are standardized for different crops but vary with different varieties. The shop floor should continuously explore and fine tune screen sizes for different varieties.

Plant diseases are classified on the basis of type of pathogenic or non-pathogenic causes of the disease. The classification is based on the plant pathogenic organisms as follows.

A. Parasites

The diseases are incited by parasites under a set of suitable environment. Association of definite pathogen is essential with each disease. They include both biotic and mesobiotic agents.

Host Range

Transmission

Spinalis thoracis is the thoracic part of the spinales complexus. It originates by aponeurosis on the spinous processes of the thoracic vertebrae including the dorsal median ridge of the synsacrum, dorsal surface of the bases of the transverse processes and the cranial border of the ilium. The muscle inserts by multiple tendinous slips on the spinous processes, vertebral arches, transverse processes of several thoracic vertebrae and the vertebral ribs. This muscle helps in straightening of the head and neck of the fowl.

Iliocostalis et longissimus dorsi is the segmented muscle originating on the transverse processes of the thoracic vertebrae and inserting on the vertebral parts of the ribs. This muscle assists in elevating the thorax.
