Omega-3 fatty acids, primarily eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), are renowned for their anti-inflammatory properties. They modulate inflammation by competing with arachidonic acid, reducing pro-inflammatory eicosanoids, and enhancing anti-inflammatory resolvins and protectins. The optimal supplementation dose varies among animal species due to differences in metabolism, physiology, and dietary requirements.
Dogs
For dogs, omega-3 fatty acids are often used to manage inflammatory conditions like arthritis and dermatitis. Doses of 50-100 mg/kg body weight of combined EPA and DHA are commonly recommended, with variations based on the severity of inflammation and the dog’s health status.
Cats
In cats, omega-3 supplementation is used for similar conditions as in dogs. Typical dose ranges from 30-50 mg/kg body weight of EPA and DHA, taking into account their strict carnivorous diet and specific fatty acid metabolism.
Horses
Horses benefit from omega-3 supplementation in conditions such as osteoarthritis and inflammatory airway disease. The recommended dose is about 4-6 g of combined EPA and DHA per day for an average-sized horse (~500 kg). Flaxseed oil, rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), is also commonly used, although its conversion to EPA and DHA is limited.

Introduction

Aquaculture stands as the swiftest expanding sector within the food industry, with an escalating per capita consumption of fish-derived animal protein. India, as the world's third-largest fish producer, contributes significantly to this trend, boasting a fish production of 16.24 million tons, which corresponds to 8% of the global fish production. Nevertheless, several challenges persist and must be addressed, including the absence of species-specific or functional feeds, the dearth of genetically modified strains or breeds, the availability of high-quality fish species, and the rising incidence of fish diseases. Recent strides in "omics" technologies have furnished a potent toolkit and conceptual framework that enables the comprehensive dissection of the phenotypic and functional networks of genes and proteins within cells or organisms (Mohanty et al., 2019). This innovative research domain has spawned technological advancements that harness the power of "omics" to scrutinize diverse biological systems (Ning and Lo, 2010). The integration of "omics" in aquaculture research has effectively surmounted numerous challenges related to production and reproduction, thereby ensuring its relevance and economic viability. This technology empowers researchers to analyze an array of molecules on a massive scale, marking an early and groundbreaking technological leap forward in this field.

Abstract

There has been consistent narrowing down of gap in our knowledge about various ‘omics’ as the omics’ based disciplines are filled with valuable information emerging from research. During the last two decades, the practice of genetics has not only changed the broad horizons of medicine but also found its niche through “high-dimensional biology” there by allowing geneticists to reframe the good-old definition of gene from a locatable region of genome sequence involved in heritability to a locatable region of genome sequence associated with a functional region or a functor. Various other scientists viewed genetics ‘‘as the study of single genes and their effects’’ and genomics as ‘‘the study not just of single genes, but of the functions and interactions of all the genes in the genome.’’ We will cover the qualitative difference that bridges various disciplines casing Omics.

Abstract

Omics arise from ome which means complete or totality. It refers to the collection of technologies used to investigate the roles, relationships, and actions of the various types of molecules that make up an organism’s cells. Omics technologies provide the tools required to investigate differences in DNA, RNA, proteins, and other cellular molecules between species and individuals within a species. These technologies comprise, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, ionomics, glycomics, lipomics, cultureomics, pharmacogenomics, metagenomics, foodomics, eigenomics, phenomics, etc. The inclusion of all omics domain is known as multiomics. In this chapter we describe from basic, type structure of omics to all the recent cutting edge technologies in multiomics.

Etiology

Mostly associated with bacterial infections. Salmonella sp, Escherichia coli, streptococcus fecalis, Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridia sp. (C. pefringens), Pseudomonas and Proteus spp. have been isolated from cases of omphalitis. Chilling, overheating or stress during transport may predispose for the condition.

ABSTRACT

Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) is a high value spice crop having immense potential for cultivation in India as a source for natural vanillin. Though the crop was introduced way back in 1835, its cultivation gained momentum only in the recent past due to various reasons. Lack of sufficient good quality planting materials is one of the constraints for expanding the area under the crop. Conventionally vanilla is propagated by vine cuttings, but this method is inadequate to have large number of planting materials in a short span of time. So, micropropagation was attempted and proved to be highly successful. In the present study, performance of vanilla plants raised from tissue culture plantlets and vegetative cuttings was assessed on large-scale in planters’ field covering a total area of 111 ha in Kerala(68ha), Karnataka(28ha) and Tamilnadu(15ha) with the financial assistance of the Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi under the project entitled “Tissue culture Vanilla : Product Plan“. Disease free elite accessions of vanilla identified by the Indian Cardamom Research Institute (Spices Board), Myladumpara from its germplasm repository were used as mother plant source for tissue culture multiplication and also for raising the nursery for producing vegetative cuttings. The field planting for the demonstration plots was carried out during 1996-1999 on a cluster approach basis having 400 plants in each unit or plot of 0.25 ha. Accordingly a total of 444 evaluation plots were laid out under the project covering the aforesaid three states. Out of the 400 plants in a plot, 80% were nursery hardened grown up tissue culture plants and the balance( 20% )vegetative cuttings of comparable length. Observations on growth and yield attributes such as vine length, number of leaves per vine, internodal length, number of beans per vine, bean size, yield etc. revealed that performance of tissue culture plants is on par with that of conventional plants raised from vegetative cuttings of comparable length. It is also observed that if good management practices are adopted, tissue culture plants perform better at the full bearing stage of the plant. This proves that tissue culture plants of vanilla can be popularized as a cost effective and faster source of planting materials compared to conventional vegetative cuttings. As the demonstration plots were distributed under varied agroclimatic situations, the influence of different weather parameters on yield was also ascertained. Further, the project could convince the farmers about the comparable performance of tissue culture plants and that is quite evident from the ever increasing request for tissue culture vanilla plants received by the Spices Board.

INTRODUCTION

Traditional knowledge is the knowledge, innovations and practices of indigenous and local communities around the world. Developed from experience gained over centuries and adapted to the local culture and environment, it is transmitted orally from generation to generation. It tends to be collectively owned and takes the form of stories, songs, folklore, proverbs, cultural values, beliefs, rituals, community laws, local language. Sometimes it is referred to as an oral tradition for it is practiced, sung, danced, painted, carved, chanted and performed down through millennia. Traditional knowledge is mainly of a practical nature, particularly in such fields as fisheries, health, horticulture, forestry and environmental management in general. Appreciation of the value of traditional knowledge is growing. This knowledge is valuable not only to those who depend on it in their daily lives, but to modern industry and farming as well. Many widely used products, such as plant-based medicines, health products and cosmetics, are derived from traditional knowledge. Other such valuable products include agricultural and non-wood forest products as well as handicraft. Traditional knowledge can make a significant contribution to sustainable development.

This chapter investigates the ergonomic design of transportation systems, including cars, buses, bicycles and other modes of mobility. It explains how seating, posture, visibility, controls, displays, vibration and environmental conditions shape the physical and cognitive experience of travel. Vehicle components should accommodate a wide range of body dimensions while maintaining neutral posture and convenient access to essential controls. Adjustable seating, lumbar support, suitable padding and appropriate joint angles are discussed as measures for reducing fatigue and spinal loading. The chapter also examines sensory feedback, information presentation and mobility-related technologies. Its central argument is that human-centred transportation design makes journeys safer, more comfortable, intuitive and accessible.

On-farm feed formulation involves preparing nutritionally balanced rations for livestock using locally available ingredients, while keeping in mind the animals’ dietary needs and the cost-effectiveness of components. This can be done either manually or through mathematical methods such as linear programming. Key elements of the process include understanding animal nutrient requirements, the nutritional profile of ingredients, and using tools like Pearson’s square for precise formulation.
This practice is a core aspect of natural feed management, enabling farmers to create customized feed mixes with natural, locally sourced inputs. It significantly reduces reliance on commercial feeds, lowers production costs, and promotes principles of ecological balance and self-reliance integral to natural farming systems. The aim is to meet the dietary needs of various livestock species—such as cattle, buffaloes, goats, poultry, and fish—during different life stages like growth, lactation, reproduction, and maintenance, using only natural, chemical-free components.
Frequently used natural ingredients include the folloning:
• Cereal Grains: Maize, sorghum, pearl millet, rice bran (as energy providers)
• Oilseed Cakes: Groundnut, mustard, sesame (for protein)
• Pulse Residues: Broken pulses and husks (rich in digestible protein)

The world turned into a grossly inhabitable during the infamous COVID-19 pandemic, with community health issues everywhere. Each one felt unsafe if other earthly inhabitants were, be it humans or other living beings. Onset of SARS CoV-2 set a ‘new normal’ world order. The ever-evolving and mutating SARS CoV-2 variants extended the pandemic wave after wave thereby complicating the situation, pushing the global healthcare system to its limits and exposing its underbelly. The continually evolving variants were more aggressively transmissive and infective. As the world still reels under tremendous healthcare pressure, other infectious diseases are emerging as are identified by the World Health Organisation (WHO), creating international health emergency situations. The situation becomes alarming with the increasing zoonotic (spillover) and reverse zoonotic (spillback) factors being more proactive in the disease spread. There is a greater need to vaccinate not only humans but also animals, especially the domesticated ones and known reservoirs/carriers. Vaccines must be developed on priority and equitably distributed as the first step to counter a pandemic or potential pandemic. Vaccination is self-limiting due to increasing reported breakthrough infection cases. A strong link of the environmental health to the overall global health needs to be acknowledged, and due diligent measures taken. Hence, there is a strong need of the One Health approach as a 360° solution, and follow it up at global-scale both in letter and spirit. This chapter discusses spillover and spillback of diseases like SARS-CoV-2 and Mpox as case examples, the mitigation strategies and the need for workable One Health models, and challenges and measures to counter future outbreaks. It stresses on foolproof vaccination strategies across to catalyse individual and herd immunities for universal wellbeing.

Introduction

Emerging and reemerging infectiousdiseases are defined as the diseases of which the incidence has shown an increasing trend in the recent past or threatening to increase in the near future. Emerging infectious disease (EID) are caused by apathogen previously unknown to cause disease orre-emerging pathogens, which have previously causeddisease but now reveal increased infectivity orextended transmission ranges that improve their ability to cause disease in human populations. Today, whole world is facing a concerning rise in emerging infectious diseases and the majority of EID have been observed in the past decades.Multiple recent EID outbreaks e.g. the 2003 SARS and the 2012 MERS outbreaks, the 2009 swine flu pandemic,the 2013–2016 Ebolavirus epidemic, the 2014chikungunya outbreak in the Western Hemisphere,the 2015 Zika and the 2019 SARS Cov 2 virus epidemic have exhibited significantmorbidity and mortality and large geographicranges. These outbreakshave indicated the potential for evenmore severe outcomes in future outbreaks. Severaladditional pathogens are also considered capable ofproducing EID outbreaks, these include Escherichia coliO157:H7, hantavirus, dengue virus and West Nilevirus, while malaria, tuberculosis (TB), cholera, andinfluenza are often considered reemerging diseases with the potential for new outbreaks.Many newly emerging diseases in humans are actually long-standing zoonosesof animal host species that appeared inhuman populations following a climatic or environmental change. The complex interplay between climate change, ecosystems, and human activities have created conditions that favour the emergence and spread of infectious diseases posing significant challenges to public health. Although, improved sanitation, increased access to health care, and advances in preventive and clinical medicine have reduced the mortality and morbidity rates of several infectious diseases.

Introduction
It is reasonable to consider that the history of humanity has been marked by two transformational revolutions: the cognitive revolution (35,000 to 70,000 years ago), when Homo sapiens began to manifest our capacity to abstract, imagine things that did not exist and give meaning to non-representational thoughts; the agricultural revolution (10,000 to 12,000 years ago), when Homo sapiens stopped being a hunter/collector to settle on land, cultivating the soil and raising domesticated animals. It was possibly the beginning of property ownership, monogamy, family and also when malaria, and other diseases more easily spread in communities, became consolidated as human diseases. It was with the cognitive revolution that things changed and our previously acquired abilities of creating images and dealing with abstract concepts started to push humankind to become the “Dominant Mammal” controlling all other animals and Earth’s environments. Progressively, man learned to work with wood, iron and all minerals extracted from the soil, produced clothes with leather and wool from animals, linen and cotton from plants, silk from insects, and latter from natural oils created arts, jewellery, dynamite, electricity, vaccines, transatlantic ships, locomotives, cars, computers, antibiotics, contraceptives, robots, portable cell phones, informatics, bioengineering, internet, artificial intelligence, social networks and many other innovations . Not surprisingly, conscious of all these attributes, man felt important, central and essential, falling into the temptation of judging himself a magnificent creature with all rights and that became deep rooted in some cultures. For the pleasure,comfort, sophistication and power, man interfered with and altered the environment in a so ambitious and predatory manner that he modified and compromised his and other species living conditions, causing also climate changes that threaten his own survival on the planet. With time, it became clear that, in addition to this entirely anthropocentric “Ego’s” point of view, there might be another perspective fromwhich one can perceive the world and interact with it. An ecological “Eco’s” perspective corresponds to a compassionate view (how can we contribute to the greater good and make the world a better place) of the Globe. After all the damage done to nature by man, moving from the socalled Ego to the Eco attitude became a mandatory needConcerning Global Health, for a long-time, human health has benefited by sacrificing the “health” of wild ecosystems (e.g., deforestation and conversion of wilderness to farmland, damming of water for irrigation, destruction of swamps and dislocation and jeopardy of wild species) which reflects a protectionist vs utilitarian conflict, over the question of whether to put human domination of the biosphere on hold or whether to embrace it .It hides unaddressed concerns about the value of (macroscopic) life (human, animal or plant), the definitions of health and wellbeing (human, animal, plant and environmental) and their relative importance. This has hampered the development and acceptance of a One Health (OH) understanding of Global Health.

Principle

The one-step growth experiment refers to a scientific methodology. A study aimed at observing the molecular events that take place during viral reproduction. This elucidates the fundamental features of the virus replication process and determines the optimal multiplicity of infection and timing for virus harvest. The initiation of modern bacteriophage research can be traced back to the development of the one-step growth curve by Max Delbrück and Emory Ellis in 1939, which utilised the Escherichia coli-T4 bacteriophage system. One step growth curve consists of three clearly defined phases 1. Latent period refers to the initial phase of a process where no significant changes or activities are observed. 2. Burst or Rise period is the subsequent phase characterised by a sudden increase virus particle. 3. Plateau period is the following phase where a stable and constant level virus replication.

Materials required

It is a very common disease found in all the onion and garlic growing areas. It mostly attacks the bulb as well as the seed crop. The infection or severity of the disease is more in Kharif crop causing 60% yield loss.

Onion is one of the oldest cultivated plant species. Onion forms the bulb in the first year and the seed in the second year. The leaves arise from a shortened crown stem. The sheaths of the older or outermost leaves enclose the younger ones. The basal portion of the leaves encircles the stem, and thickens to form the bulb. The stem elongates during the second year forming the flower stalk. The onion has a fibrous root system extending to a depth of over one meter, but most of them are found in upper surface about one-half meter area.

The nymphs and adults of the thrips desap from the narrow spaces between the inner leaf axils. Leaves are faded, with curled tips and shining silver streaks or brown spots.  Many minute yellow or white insects are seen moving, generally near the base or middle of leaves and they suck the sap from the plants.  Plants are faded and the yield is reduced.

Onion (Onion cepa, 2n = 2x 16, highly cross-pollinated, family Amaryllidaceae), is a valuable vegetable crop for the people all over the world. Tomato, onion and potato put together have been given a nick name as TOP seeing their combined importance globally. As per Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare-Horticulture Statistics Division, Government of India (MAFW, 2018), the global acreage, production and productivity of onion during 2016 were 4.96 million ha, 93.17 million tons and 18.80 tons/ha. Top 10 onion producing countries in the world are China, India, Egypt, USA, Iran, Turkey, Russian Federation, Pakistan, Brazil and Argentina. During 2016, China occupied I rank with area, production and productivity figures of 1.09 million ha, 23.91 million tons and 22.00 tons/ha. India was closely at II rank with corresponding figures of 1.20 million ha, 19.20 million tons and 16.18 tons/ha. Productivity-wise, USA is at the top rank (56.40 tons/ha), followed by Iran (37.95 tons/ha) and Egypt (36.71 tons/ha). The Netherlands is the world’s largest onion exporter with a total of around 800,000 tons, which is ca. 80% of its total annual production (Shigyo and Kik, 2008).

The onion, or Allium cepa var. cepa L., 2n=16, is one of the most important vegetables that are grown and eaten globally (Kiani et al., 2023). It is referred to as the 'queen of the kitchen' because of its wide range of culinary applications (Selvaraj, 1976). It can be eaten raw or prepared in a variety of ways, including as pickles, soups, frying, boiling, and baking (Cattivelli et al., 2021). Apart from being consumed raw, onions also provide excellent raw materials for the processing sector. They can be processed into onion pastes, dehydrated powder, flakes, rings, shreds, and onions in vinegar or brine (Gnanasundari et al., 2023). Additionally, it possesses several health promoting factors such as antihyperlipidemic, anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, anti-microbial, immune-protective, anti-obesity properties, and rich in several minerals and vitamins (Pareek et al., 2017). Medicinal value of onion has been known since antiquity; the third or fourth century A.D.'s "Charak Samhita" is one of the medical treatises that mentions it (Ray et al., 1980). Allicin, ajoene, allixin thiosulfinates, sulphites, and other significant biochemical components are found in onion, giving them considerable use and nutraceutical value.

Onion, Allium cepa under the family Alliaceae (Amarylidaceae) having chromosome No. = 2n × 2x = 16 is an important vegetable cum spice crop grown in almost all parts of the world. The four major onion growing countries in the world are China, India, USA and Turkey. Other important onion growing countries are Iran, Italy, Egypt, The Netherlands, Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Japan and Brazil. Onions are the fundamental ingredient in many dishes of the Asian countries. In India, important onion growing states are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. In India, onions are cooked for the preparation of stews, curries and as a base for rice pilafs or pilau or used fresh as salads. Onions are widely used in American cuisine, from burgers and sandwiches to soups and stews. Fried onion rings are a popular side dish. Onions are healthy whether consumed as raw or cooked however, raw onions have higher levels of organic sulfur compounds that provide many health benefits.
Origin, domestication and adaptation in India
The geographic origin of the onion is uncertain because the wild onion is extinct andancient records of using onions span western and eastern Asia. However, it is presumed that domestication of onion likely took place in Southwest or Central Asia comprising Iran, Afganistan, western Pakistan Tadzhikistan and Uzbekistan. Its secondary centre of origin is in the Mediterranean region. Its cultivation has spread in Western Asia from Palestine to India. It entered northern Europe through Italy and north Africa during 500 AD. It was introduced in the USA by the early Spanish explorers around 1625 AD.

India is considered a pioneer in software development and a favourite destination for IT-enabled services. West Bengal is predominantly an agrarian State. Comprising only 2.7% of India’s geographical area, it supports nearly 8% of its population. There are 71.23 lakh farm families, of whom 96% are small and marginal farmers. The average size of land holding is only 0.77 ha. However, the State is bestowed with diverse natural resources and varied agro climatic conditions that support the cultivation of a wide range of crops.

The net cropped area is 52.05 lakh ha, comprising 68% of the geographical area and 92% of arable land. The cropping intensity is 184%. However, as the State is in the humid tropic and the Bay of Bengal is close by, it often must face natural vagaries like floods, cyclones, hailstorms, etc. Though the State has a surplus production of rice, vegetables and potatoes, a huge gap exists between the requirement and production of pulses, oilseeds, and maize. The deterioration of soil health due to imbalances in chemical fertilizers, the paucity of suitable improved seed varieties, inadequate farm mechanization, unorganized marketing structure, etc., is a major challenge to agricultural growth.

Introduction

E lectronic-resources is an umbrella term which refers to provision of digital instruction courseware over the public Internet, private distance learning networks or in-house via an intranet. E-resources most often means an approach to facilitate and enhance access through the use of devices based on information and communications technologies (ICT) like personal computers, digital television, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant) and mobile phones. The electronic resources might include notes, PowerPoint presentations, video clips or Internet sites.

Online library resources aim at providing materials, information and services by different types of libraries to the end users. These libraries may be in different jurisdictions, but agree to serve one another on the same basis as each service to its own users through the use of ICT. With the rapid growth of information on veterinary science, there are frequent delays in providing service to the end users when traditional library systems are adopted. The cost of providing service is also rising, mainly because of manual methods and duplication of investments in library holdings. ICT enables the use of the Internet, email, discussion forums, and collaborative software to support students and veterinarians through the use of WANs (Wide Area Networks), and may also be considered where greater flexibility and just-in-time access is desired.

Introduction

Oomycete and fungal diseases are considered as the second most economically impactful diseases in aquaculture, after bacterial diseases. However, among both the diseases, oomycetes are more common. The oomycetes are members of the Kingdom Chromista, which also includes diatoms, kelps, and brown algae. These group of pathogens form free-swimming zoospores and their cell walls are composed of cellulose and glycans rather than chitin. Fish-pathogenic oomycetes (Saprolegnia, Achlya, Aphanomyces and Branchiomyces), are commonly known as water moulds, are ubiquitously distributed in a variety of aquatic environments and ecological niches, and belong to the Order Saprolegniales. These pathogens have low host specificity and infect a diverse range of fishes. On the other hand, most of the fungi (Fusarium sp., Aspergillus sp., Candida sp., Paecilomyces sp., Penicillium sp. and Cladosporium sp.) responsible for infection in fish, form non-motile spores and their cell walls are made up of chitin. In addition, Ichthyophonus sp. an important pathogen which, superficially appears like fungus and produces spores and hyphae, belongs to a distinct clade of protistan parasites. Among the oomycete diseases, infection with A. invadans is considered as one of the most serious fish disease. Therefore, the disease is discussed elaborately.

Infection with Aphanomyces invadans: Infection with Aphanomyces invadans is popularly known as, Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome (EUS). It has a complex infectious aetiology and is clinically characterised by the presence of invasive Aphanomyces infection and necrotising ulcerative lesions, typically leading to a granulomatous response (Plates 9 and 10). In an expert consultation held during the sidelines of the Fifth Symposium on Diseases in Asian Aquaculture (DAAV) at Gold Coast, Australia in November 2002, it was proposed to rename the disease as epizootic granulomatous aphanomycosis; however, the term EUS is still used popularly.

Considering these situation in develop countries it has been proposed that ‘nucleus’ herd be created where males from the best cows are obtained. Closed Nucleus Breeding Scheme (CNBS)
In the CNBS the germplasm flows in only one direction. That is from the nucleus to the cooperating herds or flocks. In the traditional pyramid there is only one way of flow of genes with in the pyramid, downwards from top to bottom. This means that the only some of cumulative genetic progress in commercial production is improvement that occurs at the top of the pyramid. If the nucleus tier makes no genetic improvement then no improvement will be noticed in the root of the tiers. However even if the nucleus tier thus make improvement progress is not seen immediately at lower levels in the pyramid. It takes time for the genetic progress in one tier to be transmitted to the next tier. The resultant difference in performance between any two adjacent tiers is called IMPROVEMENT LAG.
It is usually expressed in terms of no. of years of genetic improvement that are represented by the difference in performance between adjacent tiers. There are two factors that affect the size of the improvement. Age structure in the lower tiers. Open Source Seed Network (OSSN) would be an organisational platform which consists people engaged in conservation, farmers that can develop Value for Cultivation and Use data for the existing crop varieties in different agro- climatic growing conditions using participatory varietal selection. Farmer breeders engaged in selection and development of newer varieties and Farmers institutions involved in production and marketing of seed to other farmers. Further to elaborate the process the stakeholders will perform the responsibility of conservation and revival of the existing varieties, PVS for generating VCU data, PPB, perform Maintenance Breeding, maintain community seed banks, seed production and marketing. In addition we attempts to focus on mechanisms while making public sector as partners in participatory plant breeding which enable development of locally suitable varieties. An access and benefit sharing mechanism based on an open source model rather than on exclusive rights based is planned for free exchange of germplam within the purview of General Public License for plant Germplasm (GPLGP). Place all material to be autoclaved in an autoclavable tray. All items should have indicator tape. Separate liquids and solids should be autoclaved separately. Steps in autoclave

Pressure should read ‘O’ when you open the pressure chamber of the autoclave.

Place items to be autoclaved in the autoclave and close the door. Some autoclaves require that you also lock the door after it’s closed.

Set time - typically 20 minutes.

Temperature should be set at 121°C already, but double-check and change if necessary.

As airflow enters the classification chamber, the destruction process rotates at high speed, and the classification rotor generates centrifugal force. The viscous effect of the airflow creates centripetal force. When the centrifugal force on the particles exceeds the centripetal force, the coarse particles return to the destruction chamber, while fine particles are carried with the airflow to the powder collector for collection.
There are three primary operating characteristics of the flour mill. First, the main shaft in the power system is sequentially equipped with bearing caps, radial ball bearings, bearing pads, and thrust ball bearings from top to bottom. Second, the grinding system consists of a spring, spring pad, inner grinding head, adjusting nut, and outer grinding head mounted on the spindle. Lastly, the separation system features a brush mounted on the spindle, with a tension spring above and an adjusting nut below the brush.
The core principle of the flour grinding process is to reduce grains like wheat, corn, or rice into flour particles. Raw grains are introduced into the mill's hopper and then conveyed to the grinding chamber containing the grinding stones or rollers. As the grains pass through the chamber, the high-speed rotation of the stones or rollers generates friction that crushes, grinds, and pulverizes the grains into a coarse powder, which gradually becomes fine flour.
