OUTCOME

Founder of  “Academy of Climate Change Education and Research” in KAU during the academic year 2010-11. It is unique and innovative in India as well in Asia with five-year B.Sc- M.Sc (Int.) Postgraduate Programme in climate change adaptation after plus two. It is now renamed as “College of Climate Change and Environmental Science” and introduced additionally  B.Sc (Hons) in Climate Adaptation  

Established “Centre for Animal Adaptation to Environment and Climate Change Studies” in Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Two P.G. Diploma in Climate Services and Ph.D. in climate change and animal agriculture have been launched from the Academic year 2015-16 onwards in Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU).

Instrumental in MoU initiatives between KVASU and national (NIAN&P) and international institutes (UWA, Perth, Australia) for  the benefit of students and faculty as a part of human resources development in climate change and animal agriculture. 

Efforts were made to include the science of climate change and animal agriculture as one of the thrust areas under the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) in which KVASU is a partner.

Instrumental in establishment of IT-BT Complex, Centre for Bio-informatics and Centre for gender studies in Kerala Agricultural University as Associate Dean, College of Horticulture between 2003 and 2006 with the financial support of ICAR. All the laboratories, hostels for both boys and girls, and all the classrooms in College of Horticulture were renovated. The Students Counseling Centre and the students  computer lab were established as per the ICAR guidelines. For the first time, arrangements were made for Campus Selections at the College of Horticulture in 2005.
