The construct of values is central to many fields of human lives, personality enhancement and human values being the intrinsic of all. I feel that we can do better in our lives. I believe that most of us can get more in our lives if we use our wits to achieve our goals. From the day man has opened his eyes, he is thriving to be a better person in his/her life, to get to the place where hardships meet success and he/she is ready to meet the horizon of life. The widely examined theory suggests five broad dimensions used by some psychologists to describe the human personality and psyche. The five factors have been defined as openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, often listed under the acronyms “OCEAN”. Gratitude, honesty, love, justice, a thirst for knowledge, contentment, inner peace, integrity, hope, seeing good and exercising a sin-covering eye, forgiving and forgetting are just a few of these virtues. Humility keeps a person firm on the ground and makes him aware of future goals that are pending. As individuals, we have a number of goals in life. So, it is important that we do not lose focus once we achieve a goal. Many people have the misconception that humility and modesty have a negative impact on a person’s confidence level. This is not true. In fact, studies have shown that humility is not equivalent to low self-esteem. In fact, humility is about focusing on the unknown instead of the known. So, a modest person, instead of gloating and boasting of his past achievements, will focus on tasks he needs to complete in the future, of which the outcome is unknown. In psychology, an attitude refers to a set of emotions, beliefs, and behaviours toward a particular object, person, thing, or event. Attitudes are often the result of experience or upbringing, and they can have a powerful influence over behaviour. Attitude is an enduring evaluation—positive or negative—of people, objects, and ideas. Thus, attitudes are evaluative statements or judgments concerning objects, people, or events. Attitude has three components—cognition, affection, and behaviour of people. A particular attitude of a person can be based on one component or the other.
