The first is a statement of vision. It provides a destination for the organization. Next is a statement of mission. This is a guiding light of how to get to the destination. These are critical statements for the organization and the individuals who run the organization. Vision is what you visualize in terms of organisation or in person in long life. Say after 12-20 years where do you see yourself. What is your desired end result that is vision.Vision is a big picture of what you want to achieve while Mission is general statement of how you will achieve the vision. A personal mission statement is a statement that defines your values, who you are on how you define success. A personal mission statement can be used to guide your decisions and help you stay focused to meet your long-term goals. A personal mission statement creates boundaries that make decision-making easier, as it's easier to see whether your decisions align with your long-term goals. A personal mission statement is a 1-2 sentence motto that shows how you define yourself as a person or a team member. It identifies your personal or professional purpose and presents why it is important to you. Goals are statements of what needs to be accomplished to implement the strategy. Missions are visions of the entire organization to improve themselves and the entire community while goals are plans to be achieved to fulfill the mission. The mission is broader compared to goals. Goals, on the other hand, are ‘small wins’ that must be achieved in order to fulfill the bigger goal of the entire organization, which is the mission. The goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bounded. Goals are created to achieve the mission statement of the organization.
