Human values are values that human being cherish and hold in common consciously and otherwise in most of the places and times and practice them. Human values are the yield of the field called human nature. Importance of Human Values are: Provides understanding of the attitudes, motivation and behaviours; Influences our perception of the world around us; Represents interpretation of “right and wrong” and provides a way to understand humans and organisation. There are different number of human values described by different persons and in different religions. Buddhism mentioned Ahimsa, Asteya, Aparigrah, Satya and Nashe se virti. While Jainism says Ahimsa, Satya, Asteya, Tyaag and Brahmacharya. The three virtues Ahimsa, Satya and Asteya are common in both the religions. The Indian doctrine of 4 Purusharthas may be a comprehensive theory of human values. These four Purusharthas are: Dharma, Artha, Kaam and Moksha. Moksha is the ultimate desire of human as described in Upanishad so one has to do all his deed to fulfil the requirement of achieving Moksha.
